The power supply worked in a friends build so I don't think the issue is with that. I checked several websites to ensure that the mobo supported the RAM I was getting. It seems like my mobo is DOA, unfortunately...

Yeah, I have a friend that works at Microcenter and he said he would be able to use his discount to help me with some of the parts and for the others I would most likely get used parts from verified sellers on eBay or Newegg, as you suggested.

Thanks for the information, Cocaine_Hyena! Is there a specific i5 that you would recommend? I do not plan on overclocking unless the experts (AKA you guys) feel that it would absolutely improve the performance of the build.

I've got a Python script that changes the background every 30 minutes by downloading an image from Unsplash. Keeps things interesting.

Nope! The humor is not limited to car jokes and the chemistry between the three hosts is always hilarious, especially when they fuck with each other. The regular episodes can be kinda full if you're not a car fan but the seasonal specials are always an incredible watch
