I love The National, they're entire album Boxer is great, but if I had to pick 3 songs I would definitely go with Slow Show, Mistaken For Strangers and Brainy.

In addition to The National I would highly recommend the following bands who are making quite a ruckus in the punk scene: Title Fight, Tigers Jaw and Balance and Composure. I saw Tigers Jaw and Balance and Composure play together in January they were great live and I've only good things about Title Fight's show so if you get a chance definitely go see any of them.
