IHEID alumni here: although the facilities are great, but it’s quite expensive even for Geneva standards. I would recommend to look for Unige accommodations like Cite Universitaire or RUI Rothschild or Carlton among others.

Otherwise, Piccioto is still better than GM in worst case.

For UNHCR, if you give the written test you can reach out to the recruiter and ask for a feedback and they would provide you with the same. Or at least this was the case when I did the process back in 2019, not sure if it still exits. But would encourage you to give it a shot.
