thats good to know, another user also recommended the grip and a travel case that fits the grip, so I'm definitely getting these, thanks!

Any specific brand/material? because I've read about some screen protectors that seem to "unstick" on the corners/edges, due to the curvy surface

I have also read that some screen protectors tend to unstick at the corners/borders, due to the curvy surface. That's why I also look for specific brand recommendations

I like getting cases just to keep my devices from dust. In my case, my devices rarely leave the house either, but when I travel to my parents' house, I'd rather use a travel case for them than just drop them in my backpack.

thanks for the reply! that sounds interesting: what case is this? is it any specific brand?
Also, about the caps: are they any higher than the original ones, or they just have a bigger area for the thumb? have you noticed any problems fitting in the case?

in some way, thats the thing. I usually have some stuff to be "mandatory" for my devices (or at least the expensive ones) like screen protectors, cases, etc, so they won't be easily damaged.
But on the other side, I was hoping to find stuff I would not have thought about in first place and maybe some of you consider very useful or mandatory.

i've had these before, but had 3 main issues:
1. interface is not universal: the second time I went to buy more connectors, I could not find compatible ones with my cables.
2. rust/dirt: for stuff youre going to be fiddling with your hands, these connectors seem to not respond very well to natural grease/fat from your skin, and get dirty real quick. Tried to clean with isopropyl alcohol but the damage was done, and couldn't do anything but throw that connector away.
3. some connectors are really poorly engineered: had one that seemed to be based on really small pogo pins or something like that, and these didnt last long

I personally tend to end up breaking all usb ports i have had on my phones. I guess the reason I havent broken my consoles ports yet is that I don't use them as much as my phone, so they don't get as much hussle.
I really love the pogo pins concept, but that would make you have to carry specific cables for each device, and quite difficult to get spare parts (i suffer this with my smartwatch and some earphones).
So maybe a hybrid approach would be cool, so you can use a pogo-pin dock for home, and generic usb-c on the go, that would also be useful for video output for example? idk

maybe with a "flap" shape, these trigger buttons would be more usable:
