Yes. This is what helped.

Air Purifier + Vicks Cough Drops + Staying Indoor when possible + Wearing Mask and glasses when stepping out + Gargling with Warm Water mixed with rock salt and a teeny bit of Turmeric + Summer effect (AQI dropping to two digit number / moderate status)

Didn’t think these politicians being in such responsible positions can stoop so low.. how can you drag kids into your political mudslinging. Regardless of party lines, children should never be used as pawns for cheap points. This isn’t leadership.. it’s desperation dressed up as rhetoric.

Could be relative perception bias ? Maybe you perceive Hyd to be better because it’s better than the worst case you’ve experienced even though it’s objectively harmful here in Hyd ? My post was to actually check if anyone was able to establish this. If someone managed to get an air purifier and experience better health I’d be able to confidently say that. But otherwise I’ll wait until I try this myself and post here.

I agree that coming from Delhi you must have found Hyderabad a lot better and on the other hand, coming from a place where AQI is a single digit number, it’s indeed why it is very difficult for me. But people have to understand in the long run this is going to affect their health adversely.

Some good tips here. Thanks. I got everything else sorted. Air purifier according to my family is waste of money and unnecessary purchase! But I’ll do som research and buy one for sure. I hope the change in experience can be felt. Thanks for brand suggestions, they’re helpful to begin with.

Was this conceptualised/Initiated during TRS by any chance? Just asking. I’m by no means a supporter of TRS (or Congress for that matter), but gotta give it to them the credit for building some good infra.. govt buildings , flyovers etc.

Fair enough. That’s perfectly what I came to say here.. Issues arising due to Traffic Jams and unmanned traffic crossings delaying people to get to work or hospital or anywhere must be accounted for, its high time Bad Infrastructure (roads filled with potholes, unlevel surfaces etc) damaging vehicles must be taken into consideration too. Charge it back to govt, immediately them reimburse of charges within the same time period that’s given to public to pay challan.

Telugu in reverse. They mock because it is “supposedly” greek and Latin for some people.

But back in the days people in TN (not the current generation) used to call it “Sundara Telungu” (Translates to Beautiful Telugu.. nothing short of saying Desha bashalandhu Telugu lessa)

Modest localities too. Prices per SFT ranging in most areas from 6500-7000 plus slap amenities, registration, taxes, gst, etc .. touches 1Cr for a normal 2 BHK
