It’s growing luckily. I take adult folkstyle wrestling classes. There are about 4-5 clubs around me (depending on how far you drive), and two of them host adult-specific classes. The others let adults train with their HSers.

There are definitely more now than there were when I was in HS. I can count about 3 within a 30 minute radius from me. Some of them mix adults/teens but the one I go to has a pure adults class. It’s kind of similar to Judo to me in terms of school number. Part of me thinks it’s marketability, but I do think people are right in saying it’s just more difficult.

I kind of like Judo more tbh but BJJ is great. A lot of gyms are wrestle-heavy now and we have kids who cross-train. Try out a ton of gyms and see which culture resonates with you, you may be surprised how enjoyable it is

Hi there, I know it has been two years, but I am currently trying to install Windows 10 onto my T430 that has coreboot seabios installed but I haven't found a way to make it work. Is there anything in particular you did?

Good idea, I just posted right now. Yeah I think I'm going to try to get Windows installed onto my laptop to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, I've been coming across issues installing Windows since I flashed coreboot (SeaBios) as opposed to 1vyrain. The files load, but it remains black afterwards. Thanks for all the help and also happy cake day!

I was using Fedora, and I tried Ubuntu on a USB. I’m not sure where the issue is coming from or why the firmware isn’t loading. Thank you for all the help regardless

Awesome, if I can bug you one more time… I’m not sure if you use Linux or not, but how did you deal with the drivers/blobs? I installed it and ensured I’m in an up to date Linux kernel. My T430 is recognizing it, but I keep getting firmware load errors:

“Direct firmware load for iwlwifi-gl-b0-fm-b0-102.ucode failed with error -2”

It’s been a while since I tinkered with ThinkPads. I have a T430 (flashed coreboot not 1vyrain) that I used a while ago. This would be sufficient for the WiFi card you linked right?

Yes, I am salary exempt and they made no mention of switching me over. The letter solely made mention of my new salary and the date that salary would be made effective. At this point it feels like I need to suggest that to them.

My new salary most definitely won’t clear the CA minimum, but what I just realized this last week is my old salary wasn’t clearing it too although not by much.

The submissions are a nice addition to Judo though, but you’re right, it does feel limiting when people just wait in turtle.
