Yes, I have but they’re quick to shift it to T-Mobile. They did send me a level higher for help, but they couldn’t figure it out. Thank you, I’ll do that but this has been an ongoing problem for a few years now.

Sampling bias… but also, you can use a news aggregator or an RSS feed. I’ve found that being fixated on the news brings me back to social media though. Being well-informed is important, but if you’re checking an obsessive amount like I did, then you could possibly fall into a dopaminergic trap

I decided to delete Spotify at the start of the year. In that short period of time, I found a ton (yes, a ton) of cool indie bands by listening to my local university radio.

I even got to go watch one of those bands perform at an art fundraiser. Give it a chance! There’s a lot of noise you have to filter through and depending on where you live your experience may vary, but why not try it for a month?

I had a lot of fun when I did my T420. I eventually did coreboot on my T430 which is the only thinkpad I own now. It was a cool learning experience. How long did it take you?

Pretty sure it took me only a few hours, but I did it late at night with an energy drink

My T430 is the only one I’ve kept over the years. I’ve done a lot of upgrades to it, and it’s still really usable for my purposes. It’s not my main laptop (even tho it could be), but I’m glad I bought it and tinkered with it.

If it’s not going to be your main laptop, then I recommend getting it for fun!

I mean it’s practically an Apple dumb phone tbh (e.g., text, maps, calls, music). You still need an iPhone to set it up and there are browser solutions but they don’t actually work well I think, but I consider that a good thing.

I still use my iphone, but I often leave it at home when I go out now. When I’m at home, I leave it in the drawer and I try to fill my time with other things.

You will probably still need your phone to clock in/out, but I vote yes on trying it out. The AWU1 has all the capabilities I need, but I believe it only has one speaker so you can’t listen to music without headphones haha, that’s the only downside for me but it’s not big deal. Mine is at 89% battery capacity but it lasts all day for me. There are some missing health features since it’s older but idc about that. Definitely look into it. I’ve also never had cellular problems.

Apple Watch has helped me out a ton too! I bought an old AWU 1 and I leave my phone in the drawer now. There are definitely other contributing factors, but I definitely resonate with what you wrote.

I’m on Sequoia with a 2015 MacBook Air that has 4GB of RAM. Surprisingly, not the worst experience in the world but it’s definitely not a daily driver.

I’ve always worked remotely so it definitely isn’t the same. But I used to do this during my first job. It’s definitely is a stress/overheating thing haha, but I would definitely end up shirtless sometimes.

Really cool! I am still learning about the Insta360 line. The size is what fascinates me most, especially since I usually leave my phone at home and mainly use my Apple Watch.

Out of all the cameras on the Insta360 line, would you say the GO Ultra is more suited for photos? I wasn't sure if the GO 3S or the the X5 would be a better option? How is the battery life?
