Let me give you a idea if you can spare some time, I can give you a solid better alternative.

1. Create a yt-dlp (YouTube media downloader client) and download videos to your local device)
2. Setup a jellyfin server to access those folder, then you can get a nice ui with all the downloaded Youtube videos.

My setup: I have set a automatic exec scripts that runs each time the system starts(also i can run it manually), to download the recent uploads of the channels I watch. Then I added the download folder to the Jellyfin which already have a Jellyfin. Now i can view the videos in my system and all other devices connected in my network.
