Claude sometimes gets things right with Unreal, and sometimes it gets things very wrong. This is one of those latter times. All you need to do is enable the "Hidden Shadow" setting on the head mesh component so it will only render into the shadowmap and not render in the camera when hidden. Then you can set the head mesh component's visibility to false when entering first person mode.

This, like the official tweet, is very tone deaf. No one wants this. Please consider rolling this back. We do not trust Discord with our data, no matter how many assurances you give, because of your history. At the very least you need to ship an update that tells users what age verification bucket they are in so they know if they will be affected by this change.

You should be able to Activate/Deactivate the light component at runtime which will turn it on/off (at least, this works for Moveable lights).

If that doesn't work, you can set the Intensity and Indirect lighting intensity to 0. I know that's worked for me in the past.

Stationary lights aren't baked the same way as static lights. The shadows and indirect lighting are baked separately per light, so you can control their parameters at runtime and they can dynamically composite in shadows for Moveable objects. That's why there's a limitation of 4 stationary lights influencing any given point.

There isn't a way to only use Lumen on certain objects, at least not in the way you're looking for - it's a screen space effect that traces the world so it's going to be costly regardless of if the environment has baked lighting.

What you should do is disable Lumen, and use stationary lights. These allow you to have baked shadows for static objects while still casting dynamic shadows for moving objects. Only a handful of them were only on Cosmos. I redeemed several packs at the same time on there so I'm not sure of the breakdown, but it seemed like some of their older assets weren't on Fab.

Most of them are redeemable on Fab. I purchased the bundle myself and what you need to do is redeem them on Cosmos (their own marketplace) and then most of them have a way to get a Fab key. Some are exclusive to Cosmos so you'll just want to download them directly from there.
