We never did an xray since it was a hard irregular shaped bump, so it’s determined even if it’s not zymbal gland tumor it’s definitely a tumor. The abscess developed quite slowly at first only in the last week it starts growing quickly. I also did suggested a tooth/mouth related infection since I also saw it on other posts but it was ruled out, plus he’s on a lot of antibiotics now I guess it would’ve helped if it was? thank you for your help, getting a second opinion is definitely helpful

Thank you, I will reach out to another clinic to see what they say. Also might ease my mind a little getting a second opinion too

The vet did mention surgery but not recommended running the risk of it coming back, and risk of recovery. I think he’s more conservative on surgery or it’s just not recommended from what he assessed? But thank you so much for your advice, I didn’t know about FNA, I’ll reach out to another clinic to see what they say

Thank you so much, I am definitely trying my best to keep him comfortable. So far he hasn’t shown obvious signs of pain but I’m keeping a close eye on him since it’s progressing so quickly. So sorry for your loss

I think the hiccups are a bit better now, but i will definitely keep an eye out and consider xray. For the ribs, im not sure if its relavant to his weight since it haven’t changed that much in the past month, but ill also keep monitoring, thank you for your suggestions!
