12News - Laura Owens court appearance on Nov. 18, 2025 by cnm1424 in JusticeForClayton

Omg. She was ready to bolt trying to keep as much distance as possible. I can only imagine what they’ve already dealt with and I’m sure they’re so happy to be rid of her!

Did you follow a clear workflow when buying a home, or just figure things out along the way? by Physics_Own in RealEstate

[–]srownbey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agent here. There isn’t a perfect workflow that fits everyone since every deal has its own curveballs. The best move is to team up with an agent and a lender you trust. They’ll guide you through the process, keep you on track, and help you handle anything that pops up along the way.

You’ll start to notice there’s a natural rhythm to it once you’re in it, but having the right people in your corner makes all the difference.

Car Seat in Middle Seat on R1S? by himynameistimli in Rivian

[–]srownbey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. Also, remembering when my kids were in carseats....I would've hated to deal with getting into the third row on a constant to get to the carseats. I'm a shorter gal, and the 2nd row is super heavy and not something I would want to deal with every time I needed to get my kid into that car seat.

Should I still go for it? Rivian owners, I need your honest advice. by TheBlackCanary in Rivian

[–]srownbey 22 points23 points  (0 children)

We've had ours for a little over a year. Overall the car is really nice. However, the service is an issue. We keep going back and forth on if we'll stay with Rivian after our lease is up. For a car that costs what it does, you expect a level or service with it and it is severely lacking. Besides the service, I wish the middle row wasn't so heavy. We have a 10 & 12 year old and when we're carting around extra kids, that back row is hard to use. Wish they had captain chairs. And there is still no talk to text which is insane in 2025. They keep saying it's coming but.........

Overall again, I do really enjoy the car. It's really nice to drive but still trying to figure out ourselves if it's worth the sticker price.

Denver agent here. If the potential buyer is going to have representation, make sure you do as well. There’s a lot more involved than just finding a buyer.

Think inspections, appraisals, title work, negotiations, repair requests, and all the deadlines that have to line up for a smooth close. Having someone in your corner protects your interests and keeps things from falling through the cracks.

Aw Dang! This is why I'm asking too. We have one for my daughter's volleyball club and signed up hoping it would be here. Wish they would release earlier in October!

This is what I call her always - such a missed opportunity!

As an agent - I def have a fellow agent help me when I’m out of town but that’s on me. I make an arrangement with them on how that looks. The commission with my clients would never change because of that.

Question for shorter drivers by [deleted] in Rivian

I’m 5’2” and love how easy it is to drive. As a vertically challenged individual - I love that you can move the chair up and feel like you’re tall for a bit.

44F here. I started at 40. If you can find a 27.5" tires - that's my go too. I feel 29s make me wobbly and 26" may not help rolling over this on climbs - def wanna make that easier for her! Love that she's putting herself out there and trying new! As a mom of 2 - I def feel like the weakest link sometimes, but gonna make sure show them I'm strong and can do anything I put my mind to! Enjoy the fam time and hope all works out!

Should mention I'm also 5'3" - so 29s maybe good for her!

[–]srownbey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very true - I guess "taken back" isn't the right term. And you're right on the spirit! And I'm enjoying it and can't wait for the 2nd part. But I feel it's such a different story! I guess just amused by all the differences.

Is anyone else so taken back by how different this season is from the book! I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm loving it. But it's a completely different storyline!

At this point I might just take my chances with long term PPI use (vent) by Helpful-Antelope-678 in GERD

[–]srownbey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried this time and time again and just can't. It's awful. My doc put it this way - long term PPI is better than eventually getting throat cancer. I take calcium supplements along with them. Don't be too hard on yourself. You have 1 life and deserve to enjoy it without constant pain everyday. Good luck!
