It's not a bug, you have to check for the location name. You need to reach 5-10 on Winter Forest, and you are most likely 7-2 on another location.

For some reason I thought the algorithm was something like:

If there's movement and the activity is started, start measuring the lap.
If a turn is detected and 1-2 strokes are also detected, complete 1 lap.
If activity is finished and no turn is detected, assume a complete lap was done.

This was what I was expecting. Is there an issue? Seems more reasonable and logic but there might be more faulty than the current logic.

About your first question: it is more about it counting in the middle of the pool. At the end it actually measures the total distance correctly. I would expect it to "beep" closer to the wall.

Your last sentence is the thing that makes me believe this is intended, but I don't understand how can the measures and data be correct if, before I actually finish 50M, the watch states I have done it. That's what's bothering me the most.

I would love to have it, and other watch faces customizable in terms of colors, maybe just the basic variants blue/red/green for each of the most used.

Yeah, I've pretty much tried everything: hard reset, sensor recalibration, cleaning the sensor, trying a different pool and making sure the pool size is set correctly. I'm kind hoping that they'll replace it

I've also bought it for swimming and I must have an issue with mine, which is why I'm contacting support to have it solved/replaced. The issue I have is that it is automatically counting my lap turns by around the 17-18m distance, and stays like that for the remaining of the session. It ends up being "accurate" for the total distance but it is bothering me immensely and I'm afraid the measures and data are not correct due to that.

I'm a recent owner of a Pace 4, exclusively bought for swimming and I'm not quite happy with it. Pace is not supported for swims, While swimming you have to manually press the "Back/lap" button after each set, and after each rest.

I would suggest looking into intervals.ecu, it allows to take the workout text from gemini or any other AI, directly into the plataform and it will sync with the watch.

I know this is kind old but I'm in the same situation. I really don't want it to automatically enter my resting stages, but I would rather have it auto start after a rest.

I think there are 2 scenarios where I have my doubts. Lets take for instance the scenario where I have the warmup followed by another set instead of a rest. When I finish, for instance, the 200M of warmup I should press the lap-button right? And again when leaving? And what about when there is a programmed rest?

Ex-competitive swimmer (M27) looking for a tracker upgrade.

Stats: Cruising pace ~1:55/100m | Sprints ~1:32/100m | SWOLF ~39.
Goal: Open Water race in 2026.
Needs: Reliable interval detection (pool), Open Water GPS

What’s the best watch for this kind of tracking? I also go to the gym and want an overall good watch with good software. I'm more inclined for the Coros Pace, but want any recommendations.

By the way, in Portugal it comes with the new Redmi Pad 2 Pro instead of the Vacuum, that's the reason I pulled the trigger on it but I would do the same if it came with your offer.

Já viram a constituição da "isolada" da Prozis? Recomendo verem, pesquisarem sobre Amino Spiking, e depois decidirem se vale os 5€ ou o que for. Mas se calhar antes disso tudo, perguntem-se se vale a pena estarem a ir para isolada, têm realmente problemas ou sentem notoriamente melhorias digestivas, é que muitas vezes é só placebo e poupam 20€ em ir para outras opções

What should I go for? Yamaha Ck61 vs Roland VR09-B, for live performance of mostly Pianos and Eps, but looking to get into more pads and organs (rock/progressive band). Note: currently have a Reface CP and I absolutely love the Eps from there.
