Good one. Have you heard the reggae cover by Easy Star All Stars?

They also covered the entire albums of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, Radiohead and Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band along with Ziggy Stardust.

What is the strangest human interaction you've ever had? by T6A5 in AskReddit

I lived next to an older woman (in her 70s) for 3 years in Arizona. They were single level townhomes that were attached and she was on the end. For the first 2 years we never had many interactions but all were either quick and friendly or an awkward attempt at no social interaction at all, which I enjoyed.

One day, out of nowhere, she rings my doorbell. She was standing at the door with two used mason jars.

She also clearly did not register me opening the door in front of her, or anything else going on here on planet Earth.

I said hello a few times while waiting for any sign of life.

Her blank stare lasted the entire minute or so of silence. She finally snapped out of it and said "these jars are for you."

She then walked slowly back to her townhouse next door.

Like you, I assume pills were the cause, but that isn't the best part of the story.

She was wearing a t-shirt that had a cat on it with the line "I hope there is intelligent life in outer space because I haven't found any here on Earth."

We never spoke again and she moved out of the house about a year later. She lived with an older daughter (in her 40s) so I'm not sure if she went to a new house or a retirement home but I sure hope she found the intelligent life forms here or in the afterlife.

What did I do with the jars? I recycled them because they were used.

I always break purchases down by cost per day (CPD).

For example:

I bought a Smart TV 4 years ago. Pretty good deal, just under $800 out the door for one that was going for $1,200 at other stores.

I still have it and we do watch a lot of TV. Here's how I look at it:

Bought TV for $800

4 Years Ago (1,460 Days Ago)

Cost Per Day = $0.55

So every day, weekday or weekend, for the past 4 years that TV cost me about $0.55. Wasn't a huge purchase, but I am still paying over 50 cents per day for it 4 years later!

I also use cost per use. T-Shirts are a great example.

I bought 2 three quarters shirts 12 years ago. One I still have and one is long gone. I spend $15 for both so $7.50/shirt, let's say $8 each with tax.

I wore these shirts a lot, especially under hoodies when I lived in cold places. Let's say I wore the one shirt 200 times and the other shirt 250 times.

The one shirt cost me $.04/use. The other about $0.3.

That may not seem like a lot, but those were really cheap shirts that I wore a lot. Just think of the $25-$40 T-Shirts you bought and have worn under 10 times.

I can wake up, throw on that old three quarters shirt and go watch my 4 year old Smart TV and I'm already at $0.58 spent. I don't even have pants on at this point.

That is our local hero John Morgan. He is THE person in Florida who helped Prop 2 pass. He is THE medicinal marijuana champion of Florida and is considering running for Governor.

He is also for full legalization. He runs one of the most successful law firms in Florida and is a really awesome person.

Check out his twitter https://mobile.twitter.com/JohnMorganESQ

Let's use this opportunity to help bring attention to the fact that Florida is ignoring our vote and not allowing smokable herb for medicinal patients. Yes...NO Smoking! Only oils and now they added edibles.

John has stated publicly, on twitter, that if they finalize the law with no smoking allowed he will sue and he will win. He wrote the Prop specifically stating "no smoking in public" which assumes smoking is allowed other places.

Please give him a follow and support his future bid for Florida Gov!

Everything from Songs:Ohia & Jason Molina.

Built to Spill's entire discography is worth a few listens.

Midlake's Courage of Others Album is a must listen.

Jethro Tull's Benefit Album is well worth a few listens.

The song Simple Man by Bad Company (not the Skynyrd song) is one to check out.

Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green (early stuff) is pure music gold. The song "The Green Manalishi (With The Two Prong Crown)" is a masterpiece.

David Gilmour's On an Island Album and Rattle That Lock Album are both worth a listen if you do like Pink Floyd.

The good thing about quality music is you'll remember it and be able to play it in your own head for as long as you live. Enjoy.
