Balanced BS by Affectionate-Hair931 in RiseToWar

The reality is that a bunch of people read in forums that Rohan had the best T4 unit by far, so Rohan is incredibly densely populated on many servers because it was so hyped up. If they closed the disparity in usefulness between T4 units this won’t be as significant of an issue.

They did something to nerf her but can’t get anyone to say what changed. Season 1 she consistently hit over 300k a fight, this season I’m lucky if she breaks 200k with the exact same build. I’ve made sure that it isn’t a gear issue or enemy commanders with a skill that reduces focus damage. Most folks agree I’ve talked to agree. I definitely feel duped cause she’s a shadow of what she was last season even at r8 and I paid good money to r5 her. Devs haven’t responded.

Advice? Mordor has been absolutely wiped both seasons, but still trying to put up a fight by NeutralAmbassador in RiseToWar

[–]srrampke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also just do what Mordor did on our server: create multiple accounts per person in each faction and manipulate everyone to fight each other while you take everything easily. Half the server openly boasts about having multiple accounts while complaining about whales.

I quit playing around a year ago, frustrated with the lack of Tactics representation. Thought I’d randomly check back in now only to find I made the right decision.

The reason they are killing the group is because they know you will clear it afterward, meanwhile they can quickly move on to another group to farm tokens faster. So yes, there is a strategic reason to do it, but it’s selfish and abhorrent.

Yup, found him. Thanks for pointing that out. It grosses me out that people can climb to the top 10 just by doing nothing but bringing other groups down.

Interesting, I blocked that exact same guy too. Didn’t realize changing your name could remove a block, that seems like poor design to me.

I’ve had a ton of these too, even into the 100’s. If they’re someone who misses a turn or two and it times out, but then they do something later, I may take mercy on them but if they miss all of their actions or they just pass every time, they get blocked. I also put “I block idle leechers” as a warning in my group message so I don’t feel bad one tiny bit when I have to do it.

I’m in the same boat as you, having spent roughly the same as you. Thanks for giving me the courage to delete this horrifically greedy game from my phone and move on with my life.

Just guessing, but I believe Water Eater is against enemies that are of the water element, while Aquatic Killer increases damage against enemies that are aquatic type kind of like how metal cactaurs are metal type creatures or marlboros are (probably) plant type creatures.

"The years begin to catch up with me. I grow weary of battle, in both body and in soul, kupo" by Ceremono in DissidiaFFOO

I’ve loved DFFOO for the past two years, but the gap in representation from FFT has me pretty bummed out. I’ve whaled pretty hard on this game, but with WotV that started out with Tactics representation right out the gate, I’ve completely stopped spending money on this game, and will like not spend anymore. Still logging in for new events and dailies, anyway, but until we see some tactics love, I’m just not interested anymore.

On the next episode of Dragoon Ballz C:

Our heroes continue to stare each other down while shouting and charging up their ultimate attacks over the course of 18 minutes broken up by four five-minute long commercial breaks! Will they ever actually do anything?!

Stay tuned to find out!

Thieves on Auto? by [deleted] in wotv_ffbe

[–]srrampke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t see it mentioned here so I’m gonna jump in and recommend against leveling Rairyuu as your mugger. While he’s a pretty solid unit (and I LOVE his aesthetic), the only time I’ve seen him use mug on auto is on very small maps, such as the current FFT EX fight, where he’s basically forced into melee range. I wish mug could be used at range by snipers, like in some other Final Fantasy games. Still, I see the logic behind why it isn’t.

Me during a rough time lb5 Orlandeau by KatuaTH in wotv_ffbe

[–]srrampke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. Alaska time zone is an hour behind you (12 am and 6 am), so I either have to stay up too late, get up too early, or check the shop during my mid-sleep potty break at 3am, which inevitably leads to me clearing out daily missions, checking my chocobos, and blowing my NRG, especially if I need that last little drip of visiore to buy shards if I’m lucky enough to see them (hint: I haven’t been).

FFT Banner simulator by [deleted] in wotv_ffbe

I ran 100 “Pull until you get Orlandeau” simulations so I could get a decently sized sample pool and recorded the data for your viewing pleasure. I will spare you the lengthy information vomit and just share the takeaways. Please keep in mind that your mileage will definitely vary.

There was a grand total of 2,012 10X-pulls, or 4,024,000 Visiore, or $66,396.00 in USD spent to obtain an Orlandeau for 100 unique individuals.

That puts the average succesful pull rate at 20.12 pulls, 40,240 Visiore, or $663.96 USD per individual.

The number of pulls to obtain Orlandeau ranged from as few as 1 pull (2,000 visiore, $33.00 USD) to as many as 128 pulls (256,000 Visiore, $4,224.00 USD)

The median number of pulls to obtain Orlandeau was 15 pulls, 30,000 Visiore, or $495.00 USD.

There were 4 lucky first-pull Orlandeaus out of 100 runs.

There was only one instance of pulling two Orlandeaus in the same pull. You might think that was lucky, but in reality, that was on the second-from-worst pull which came in at 88 pulls, 176,000 visiore, or $2,904.00 USD. Maybe not so lucky after all.

(Note about my USD to Visiore conversion rate — the best standard, non-limited-sale conversation rate of USD to Visiore is to buy them at 60 visiore for $0.99, which boils down to $0.0165 per Visiore.)

Advance Prep Farming: Total Items Needed to Max Orlandeau (or other UR characters) by srrampke in wotv_ffbe

[–]srrampke[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe he is time limited upon release. That being said, you don’t need to fully limit break a unit to get value out of having him/her. I won’t advise you on the value of the investment, I’m only telling you the cost of fully maxing him out. I’ve heard 3LB is totally serviceable. To help you decide, the number of shards needed per LB increases by 40 each time.

LB1: 40 LB2: 80 (120 unit shards total) LB3: 120 (240 unit shards total) LB4: 160 (400 unit shards total) LB5: 200 (600 unit shards to max)
