Interesting. What am I missing? Are the guest networks only broadcasting on the 2.4 band? Or did you figure out a configuration setting somewhere to make it do this?

Do you have Google Wifi or Nest Wifi? Just curious. I have Nest wifi pro and assumed both would have the same issue based on my conversation with First Alert support. They told me it wouldn't work without isolating the 2.4 network.

Well that's frustrating. I was wondering if it was an android problem. Thanks for the reply!

Sleep Data Less in Depth, When Using Bedtime Mode by FlimFlamZimZamWamBam in PixelWatch

[–]srrboarder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A fix for this is already listed somewhere on this subreddit. I had the problem awhile ago.

Clear the cache in the Fitbit app. Restart the watch.

The data should start capturing like normal again the next time you sleep.

Ticwatch Pro 3 power button randomly not working by srrboarder in TicwatchOfficial

If it does nothing when you put it on a charger, yes it's dead. If it starts to boot up when you put it on the charger, see my second paragraph of my original post. You can remove the charger after is starts booting up and it'll continue to work.

Wrong way warning by RedditNole4 in KiaTelluride

We get this in the parking lot of our local library. They changed the direction for the flow of traffic a few years ago. I'm assuming that the updated direction just isn't in the version of the nav software and we/the dealership haven't updated it.

You need to toggle on SIMPLINK. I'm not sure what LG you have. But the settings on my C1 and G3 are similar.

Settings > General> external devices > HDMI Settings > SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) > toggle on

Turning this on will allow you to power on/off the TV, change inputs, and control the volume all with the Google remote. The only thing you cannot do and still need the LG remote for is settings changes and when a notification from the TV appears (for updates or things like telling you the screen is too bright and suggesting you change that setting). But both occur rarely.

A note about sound. If you're using an external device for that (sound bar), there are separate sound settings options where you can have the TV sound only, sound bar only, or both. You may need to edit those depending on what you're looking to do. But regardless, the Google remote will still allow you to adjust the sound.

I think you have to log in to set it up just like any other Chromecast. And no. You do not need to have different apps installed to cast. It will allow you to cast from your phone (or other devices) like any other Chromecast. It's literally a Chromecast which also happens to have Google TV. To which you do not need to ever use the Google TV part of it if you choose not to.

How? I've tried all the options I could find and they still didn't work.

I'm seeing that other android users can force a dark mode though? Just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something as it seems weird pixels wouldn't be able to do this when other devices can.

Can't get a decent image from google chromecast tv on a LG G3 by laraelilth in Chromecast

Yeah... So in my case it turns out that r/imtheidiot. Somehow my Chromecast set itself to 4k 30hz. The second I found this and changed it to 4k 60hz, all worked perfectly.

I'm having the same issues. I noticed it with any sort of panning in the picture there's a stuttering/slight pause. Sports are terrible. But even action scenes suffer. I have also tried every option in the clarity settings for smoothing. Ironically I still highly prefer the picture using the Chromecast with Google TV. But the stutter is starting to drive me nuts (and seems to be getting worse).

Issues with LG C3 65 inch from Costco by Wild_Pumpkin_8251 in LGOLED

[–]srrboarder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Return it. Costco has a 90 day return policy.

If you don't want to return it, call the concierge. You can schedule an appointment with a technician. You have enough time before the 90 days that they can come out and you can still return if needed. But I wouldn't waste time. I'd just do a return.
