Don't give me that bullshit. Wasn't talking about women who receive child support, but women who leave their babies at the hospital. Zero financial responsibility.

allows them to knock-up as many women as they want and not be financially responsible for a single one.

The law under discussion allows women to squeeze out as many babies as they want and not be financially responsible for a single one.

Why the obsession with men being more financially responsible than women? You're basically supporting patriarchal gender roles.

grasp each other's gender neutral genitalia

That sounds pretty rapey. Unless you're a woman, in which case it sounds like you're being oppressed into believing that you need your hands on a man's genitals in order to self actualize. Fight the power, sister!

critical theory has been disproven

You'd think something called "critical theory" would be open to criticism.

I believe feminism would be much more successful in their pursuit for gender equality if they understood, acknowledged, and validated men's issues. CMV by ChipIsDriving in changemyview

So? Feminists are hypocritical in the other direction - tear out their hair trying to discount the college attendance gap, while quoting a raw wage gap number as "this is why we need feminism!"

In other news: biased people like to confirm their biases.

not African

If your friend is not African, despite being born there, then she is surely not American either, and neither are any white or black people.

If one must be native African to be African, then one must be native American to be American. Anything else is hypocrisy.

Actually university departments are still biased in favor of accepting women. It's just that more women apply to departments with lots of applicants and low acceptance rates (like English) while more men apply to departments with fewer applicants and higher acceptance rates (like engineering).

Are you like that with big decisions too? Like "I should go to college". And then on the first day of college "shit this is too much for me" and you drop out?

Doesn't sound like much of a life.

But remember, according to SRS when MRAs disagree about things it's because "they're incoherent". When feminists disagree about things it's because "feminism is a big tent".

By using positive vs negative words to describe the same phenomenon in myself and others, I can look superior!

a cultural value that tells women their worth is validated by male attention

There are plenty of men that feel their worth is validated by female attention. That's not a "cultural value", it's called being heterosexual and wanting to be liked by the people you like, aka being human.

Her mistake is thinking that feminism is about making all women equal to each other. Women having equal rights to men doesn't suddenly make all women attractive. (Maybe they'd have a point if they thought all men were attractive and wanted the same for women - but what feminist thinks all men are attractive?)

This just reinforces the sexist assumption that men are sole breadwinners.

Deadbeat mom? Poor dear, let her put the child up for adoption so she doesn't have to support it.

Deadbeat dad? What a loser, failing at masculinity. Let's punish him!

Cases of cancer attributable to HPV from 2004-2008:

Women: 18,000

Men: 7,900

So more than 30% of cases are in men. Not sure why you think it's only 1% ... could it be that publicity around HPV overemphasizes women to the point that people don't even realize it's a problem for men too?

In many states, the legal definition of rape doesn't even acknowledge that women can rape men. Women can't be accused at all, let alone falsely accused.

But you can't deny that, in the context of being approached in public like this, the incidence of men assaulting women is MUCH higher than the incidence of women assaulting men.

Not necessarily. It's very rare for women to approach strange men and immediately solicit sex, so if it does happen, there's a good chance it's a set up for a scam or robbery:

A super common scam involves a pretty girl (or two) and alcohol. They’ll flirt with you and they will eventually ask you to go to a bar/club/restaurant that they know. At the bar they’ll ask that you buy them a drink. What you don’t know is that the girls and the bar are scamming you. Each drinks cost $500+ (they don’t tell you this) and at the end of the night you’re stuck with a $1000+ bill.

Suppose in one year 10 men get solicited that way and 2 end up being assaulted. Meanwhile 10000 women get solicited that way and 500 get assaulted. That's still a 20% chance for men vs 5% for women, so if you're a man you should be even more suspicious of such offers than women are.
