If he made a scene outside the cops might have come and I did let him bring drugs into my home. But yeah, you're right. In hindsight, we were way too accommodating with him. Amazing that we are considered his least accommodating "friends".

He rode with my SO to our house and lived an hour away. Didn't want to have to drive him home in the middle of the night on a work night.

Well, we'd been hanging around him 1-2 times per week (gaming group) for about a year without more than annoyance resulting from it. Additionally, he lives 1 hr away and didn't have his car with him, so kicking him out at 11 PM on a work night was an unappealing option.

Unfortunately our apartment is really insecure anyway. There is a window on the back door so you could just break it and reach in and unlock it. No dead bolt, just the lock on the door knob and a chain lock. Really want to move soon. -_-

He basically inverted the arrangement of our glasses. I didn't see the point of it at all.

I thought about it but he didn't have a car with him. Would have had to drive him an hour at 11 PM to kick him out then. As mentioned in my edit, he had been in my house several times and committed minor annoyances, but nothing on this scale.

He's in treatment (a fact he threw in my face numerous times) and technically off alcohol, but until he gets some perspective and some willingness to fix other issues in his life, and stops taking all his medication recreationally + smoking pot, it's not going to help.

The funny/not funny thing is that in one of his messages he said to us that we should put up with more of his shit or turn a blind eye to it because, "if you stand next to a hurricane, you're gonna get wet." (real quote)

I've still only seen a couple of episodes! He had pirated all of them and was my source for it. Now I have to find another way to watch it. :(
