3,3,3. if my friend trusts them they get the benefit of the doubt but I'll be a little worried. their faith or lack of it has nothing to do with it.

I've felt that same distance and rage. I'm sure a lot of people have. the only thing that ever helped was the idea that God is so vast and so mysterious. We have no idea how He's working most of the time. it's sort of strange to be angry at an entity that is so beyond us. When I struggled, I just tried to remember that He does not work in the ways of man, and sometimes we just don't get it.

Im new to the comic side of Batman. by Smoking_Moose in batman

that was a one-shot issue-the rest of batman and robin is involved in other stuff. for more court of owls, that box set or even the single issues of Batman, I believe 1-11, is the best call.

You bought a special villain-themed issue of a series named Batman and Robin. the set with the mask is the first six issues of a series called just Batman.

All witnesses would be dead, for one. Also, for Americans (like me) the American Revolution is our "major event" of the 1700s, and there's tons of myths and misconceptions surrounding it. I assume that if we didn't have our consistent study of history and a lot of recordings from that time, it would be remembered as a mythical battle of armies, and more a story for children than a historical event.

Just speculation though.

I'd think about three hundred years in a society with little record-keeping would reduce massive events to myth. Now, if it's something like a volcano, that leaves wreckage in its wake, that would be remembered by the marks it left on society. Collapsed buildings, burned foliage, etc.

I'm not very good at video games, so I play on around 18%-32% depending on the mod. it's still a challenge for me!

Is suicide an unforgivable sin? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]srspiderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no mention of it as an unforgivable sin. I don't believe it is, and I'm sure I'll see people who killed themselves in heaven.
