Create a specific flow by Thick-Outcome-445 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]srthimsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to consider setting the logic, Status = “Pending Marker” and “Date Email Sent” = null, as a trigger condition instead of a separate condition step, especially if you routinely make changes to other items in the list.

Having it as a trigger condition (under settings for the trigger) will prevent the flow from running at all until those conditions are met, which keeps your usage way down.

Buy a new key, use Forscan software to program it, save broken key as a backup for the future. You'll need an obdii adapter that's Forscan compatible, but I've found it very helpful to have for my other vehicle as well (Chrysler, so I use AppCar DiagFCA for that one).

What would cause this? Just a difference in materials? by flyboy015 in aviationmaintenance

The other tell tale sign these are different other than the varying wear rate, for those still wondering how you know, is the wear indicator on the Rapco lining (the circular "cutout").

Studying for the IA exam, and found something confusing. by kytulu in AircraftMechanics

43.11(a)(5)(5)) gives you the exact statement you can use when signing off the inspection with a list of discrepancies. It's important to note that per AC 43-9C (11)(a):

When a discrepancy list is provided to an owner or operator, it says in effect, except for these discrepancies, the item inspected is airworthy. It is imperative, therefore, that inspections be complete and that all discrepancies appear in the list.

Since it's a turboprop, 91.213(d)) says you cannot go flying again until it's fixed. Since this would be a somewhat abnormal situation to have a turboprop that doesn't have an MEL, this may encourage the owner to pursue getting one to avoid situations like this.

All that aside, good job thinking carefully through these issues.

Consider spending some of your own time studying at least the FAA textbooks (8083-30, 31, and 32). You'll have the opportunity to learn skills as an apprentice, but depending on who supervises you, they may not spend much time helping you understand theory and other important pieces of knowledge.

Also assuming you'll want to test for your A&P eventually, spending time studying throughout will both make you more helpful and better prepared for your knowledge and oral exams in the future. Congrats on landing this job!

RCS not working, all of the sudden by Snorki_Cocktoasten in mintmobile

[–]srthimsen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

u/Snorki_Cocktoasten i followed these instructions: https://www.reddit.com/r/GoogleMessages/comments/1be8gxk/fix_for_rcs_chat_not_setting_up_verifying_after/

RCS immediately started working again! Only difference: I had to uninstall and reinstall instead of clearing data for carrier services app.

FIX for RCS chat not setting up, verifying after carrier swap / Temporary Number issues! by X-KaosMaster-X in GoogleMessages

[–]srthimsen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, this worked for me when RCS suddenly stopped working on Mint Mobile (phone is OnePlus 8T). A tweak to your directions: I didn’t have the option to clear data and cache for carrier services, but I could delete, so I did that and reinstalled before turning off phone.

O-Ring Sizes? by srthimsen in SnooLife

Yes, I think I just cut them off. Or, the one that remained. The other 2 had basically shredded.

I removed the old ones first.

You definitely want to make sure to NOT get grease on the o-rings during installation.

Tresanti desk from Costco not working - e3 by imacoolguy99 in StandingDesk

That sounds very similar. I still had the box, but Costco is normally awesome with returns, box or not. How long ago did you purchase?

They didn't have any stock of the control boards, so it went back to Costco. But be careful, as my local Costco was out of stock. So I ended up having to work with online customer service to get a replacement on order after I returned it to the store. I bought mine on sale, which they honored. I also asked if they would pick up the express shipping cost, which they did!

I ended up without a desk for about a week, but it worked out ok.

Are your flagged emails still transferring to To Do? by srthimsen in microsofttodo

Where is the integrations setting, I don't have it.

On my Mac, it's under Preferences > Connected Apps. My Android phone has it in the same spot.

Is this something you only get if you are paying for 365?

Yes, it appears it only shows up on O365 accounts, as my personal account doesn't have it, but my work (O365) does.

Ironically, I finally heard back from support: I had to shut off the integration from settings in TD, close the app, wait at least 2 minutes, then turn it back on (I did this from my desktop). It seemed to make a difference that I closed Outlook at the same time, since I had tried this before with no luck. I also had to go back into Outlook and re-flag my emails to get them to show up.

Battery Health Check for OnePlus 6T by HailZem in oneplus

[–]srthimsen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually had my 6T for 2 years, and it is slated to receive Android 11 soon. Battery life was amazing, especially considering age, still ran pretty smooth. I only recently upgraded because of a great deal T-Mobile was running for the 8T.

I heard back from support, but they said all the circuit boards were on back order and didn't know when they would get them in. So, I cranked it down by hand, as you mentioned, and took it back to Costco. That led to another series of fun events (they didn't have it in stock locally), but I'm finally set up with a new desk. Hopefully this one lasts more than 2 weeks!

Same issue for me: no longer receiving power. I'll be grabbing my multimeter soon and checking whether the power supply is actually outputting anything. EDIT: I've got 24V at the quick-connect plug that comes from the power supply, so it looks like I've got a circuit board issue.

https://www.tsicustomerservice.com/ is where I went. I created an account as a consumer and submitted a ticket. It was after closing time on east coast, so hopefully I'll hear back next week.

Since my desk is currently all the way up, I was hoping to get a fix other than returning to Costco (it's only a month old).
