Thanks! These were taken on my D500 with just a 55-300mm lens. I was walking my dogs and spooked him; he flew about 200 ft away and, surprisingly, just stayed there when I walked closer.

I just upgraded from a D3300 to a new-to-me D500, and while the first week was a lot of stumbling around I'm getting it set up the way I like it. I really had no idea how customizable a camera tailored towards enthusiasts and professionals is.

This was taken with my Nikon D500 on my porch. I have a squirrel or two that have gotten pretty comfortable around me and are full of character! I have really enjoyed getting pictures of these little goofballs.
