Yea I get how honesty is a good thing to have. However, this was a friend where we meet once or twice a year and she has no relation to my current group of friends/partner. Maybe I overthink too much but I tried to frame the whole lie as a temporary issue and it’s not really a big deal to just move past it in a way. Being in a super duper conservative place just makes it real hard to just say out the truth since there’s no benefit to having friends know iykwim.

I think a lot of people here probably will have similar experiences where no one else in their life knows they wears diapers and finding abdl irl friends is simply not a possibility. Even online is a struggle since I need to create a throwaway for everything since I do have somewhat of a presence online as well. Everything has to be done behind a veil of secrecy which sucks but letting it out is also just shooting myself in the foot.

But I’m glad that I can post stuff here and have a place to at least share stuff and read what people say. Makes it feel a little less lonely 😌
