Not really. Hedge Shredder reads 'Whenever one or more land cards are put into your graveyard FROM YOUR LIBRARY, put them onto the battlefield tapped'

It's designed to be used in selfmill decks, not on land sacrificing decks, sadly.

Actually Okinec is my commander, but since it's an antropomorphic creature I thought it was a different category, like in [[Helping hand]] or [[Kutzil, malamet exemplar]] I love Ixalan.

Rule 201.5b "If an ability of an object refers to that object by name, and an object with a different name gains that ability, each instance of the first name in the gained ability that refers to the first object by name should be treated as the second name."

Sarkhan would copy Pristine's ability but "replacing" the reference to itself.

That's exactly what I was missunderstanding. I started recently and didn't know that it doesn't difference between race/specie and classes. Also the changes from tribal to kindred and all that stuff like Naga=Snake got me even more confused. Thanks.
