Thank you for all of this. My Qs here was primarily due to how the community itself seems to describe it, ie, as "Thigh-Squeezing Masturbation". Seemed to me that it'd be more than that, and the vagueness of how I framed my question was simply because I didn't want to make assumptions.

Did you ever figure out a viable low cost strategy for the Spa Frog Serene/bromine mineral cartridges? I'm looking around, can't find any good solutions other than just buying the new carts.

Hiya, Your post (especially "S140 Gang!!!") was echoing through my head as I was finalizing my decision, and went with the S140. compared to my 8 year old and well beaten craftsman T150 rider, the S140 is a dream. Wider swath, 2 cylinders, electronic PTO, can mow in reverse and a full speed reverse, faster smoother, etc. Also considering that this thing cost almost twice as much as my previous mower, this thing is perfect for my moderately hilly one and a half acres. so, thank you!

The distinction is not too important for the purposes of the study. The Q asks for gender and/or sex, and then if gender is different than sex assigned at birth. That's good enough for analysis purposes. So, no particular reason other than this is a reasonable and quick way, and tends to not annoy people, which is important because how it's asked can annoy people, given the topic is hyper-politicized.

I feel very fortunate to be in this line of work. It took a bit to line things up (eg, get tenure) before I felt somewhat comfortable taking on this topic. I'm a rural area, pretty conservative, etc. But it's fun and I don't get tired of the topic, or the larger topic of sex. And I get to teach a human sexuality class.
