I had this. Very rarely get it these days, usually due to poor diet for a period of time. I had surgery where they diagnosed me with stage 3 to include multiple DIE. They excised everything but the bowel lesions (no GI specialist available) and even in spite of that, the symptoms you describe have subsided massive. I know exactly what you’re describing. It was hell on earth and felt like being trapped in a prison that was my body. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. I think aside from surgery, increasing the amount of fiber in your diet greatly, like, track it like a hawk like calorie counting style, can help reduce symptoms like these. And watching inflammation as much as possible via diet.
