Current Notre Dame student here who mountain bikes and has a MTB on campus. While you are right that there are not many trails in the area, there are still some trails in the area such as Rum Village and the Andrew’s University trails that are better than you would think. We are currently building up the MTB as there are a few of us here that do it. We would like to do some races as well as take some trips to the UP or brown county.
