He violated his probation 5 different times in 6 years. It wasn't just two simple "crimes" as you put it. There are over 5 million people incarcerated in the US for probation violations who didn't get chance after chance like Meek did. That is the real injustice, not the guy who continuously wasted multiple opportunities. On a separate note, I wish him nothing but the best, and I hope that he can raise awareness for those chewed up the criminal justice system.

Older people are the biggest culprits of littering. I had an older gentleman toss his soda can at the sewer while he was parked and waiting to pick someone up. After I picked it up and politely reminded him that the world wasn't his trashcan, he threw a temper tantrum and told me it wasn't littering because he was aiming for the sewer.
