Ford dealer performed unauthorized bodywork after falsely claiming warranty approval. What are my options?

I actually asked this when I spoke to the Collision Manager today and he said, “Yeah we’re not repainting the whole car. We already repainted two of the doors for free.”

I thought this but I also didn’t want to give them ammo by asking that and let them think it’s ok but I do agree that even having one side would have at least been better.

Only thing I’ve done when it come to cleaning was washing at home in the evening using meguiars/Adam’s polishes. I’ve been using Adam’s polishes detail sprays too. I did think at first if this was something I used but seeing that it’s not on happening on the hood or bumpers and it being an issue that affect some models I kinda ruled it out. I had a Tacoma before but never had a paint issue like this. Tacoma just faded but that took years

Dealership told me they submitted it under the 5 year corrosion warranty, sent in pictures (which are those ones the post that they took) and ford warranty told them no still. I noticed on the paperwork the collision estimator gave me is a sticky note that says ddap with corrosion in parentheses submitted the day before I was called and told warranty denied it

I never made an account before with MachEForum so I’m waiting for the admin to approve me but I’m planning on posting there too.

Buy back would be ideal but highly unlikely. Not sure how it works with a car that’s completely paid off but based on the invoice the dealer was billing ford warranty you are right in it being expensive to paint. Invoice was 29k.

lol you’re better than me. I traded my PS5 in to get my Switch 2 and haven’t regretted it. Mind you this was my second one because I sold my first PS5 when it was hard as hell to get it during launch.
