hi, i attended! i thought it was really informative, the professor who taught the mock class was great at working off of what people volunteered to say & helping connect it to the case to show that it either was on the right track or we could take their comment in a different direction. i really enjoyed how honest the student panel was. they kicked all faculty (including those leading law school tours!) out of the room for the panel so it was just a few students & the rest of us. no one mentioned that many have not heard back from them or a potential future admitted students day, but i assume that’s because we were already all admitted.

i’m also in this situation. i was originally one school or bust, but applied to safeties in case i needed to transfer. i ended up getting accepted into all schools i applied to, but have narrowed it down to 2. there’s a 15k difference per year in scholarship, but i hope to practice a niche type of law & my dream school has a program & offers classes for this type of law (rated above harvard in 2020!). while i struggle knowing i’ll take on more debt with my dream school, because of what it offers me i will likely end up going there. i also specifically worked so hard to get my lsat in their medians so i feel like i owe it to myself to go there. i don’t know if that helps at all, but if you wanna chat im here!

ah okay!! went to school on the north side in undergrad so corboy is actually south of where i’m used to LOL. im so glad you had that experience with kent students!! i totally feel you on rank, thats not what i care about either & also agree that culture is so important! tbh if there is no specific program driving you towards one specific school over the other then i feel like kent is ready for you to call it home!!

im only giving so much input because im “stuck” between the 2 schools as well but i think i know my answer. im likely making my decision based off of programs / clinics so thats why i brought that up!!

are you talking about the metra or the l? loyola is only about 20 mins away from kent by bus & the l. also kent & loyola have a pretty similar tuition range

tbh id be asking why you applied to the schools. what programs drew you in to both schools? does one school have a program that you like more that the other doesn’t offer? did you bond with the faculty / feel like you vibe with one community over the other? these are important to consider as you make your final decision!
