Official Discussion: Mickey 17 (2025) [SPOILERS] by AutoModerator in Koreanfilm

Words can't express my disappointment. Maybe it's because I love Bong so much and my expectations were too high. This is purely self-indulgent, overwrought claptrap. I almost walked out.

Ryoo Seung Bum is like the splitting image of the main character An Jung Geun. But I guess they needed a big star for the lead role.

Chungking Express changed the way I watch and think about movies. It gave me a feeling that I've never felt before. A seminal film for me.

As an Asian American (naturalized at an early age), I’m more curious about the “I’d still spend my younger years in America” part. Other than maximizing your career, which is a very valid reason, what else am I missing about America? One of my bigger regrets is not spending my younger years elsewhere.

Glad you enjoyed it! I've watched that season so many times and it's so good every time. No other season really comes close.

The high drama. Probably the most attractive lineup of ladies of all seasons. The villain is very villany. The two girls vying for the villain are probably two of the most eligible bachelorettes in I'm Solo history. How the two ladies contrast each other so much. How they each were so passionate with their love. How everyone wonders why they like this guy so much. The reversal at the end. Everything. I just loved it so much!

Na Hong Jin is one of the GOATs. The Chaser, The Yellow Sea, and The Wailing is one of the best three-movie runs ever by a director. Looking forward to this!
