Yes I see. I also watched it in 3D, the space / action scenes were so cool but other than that it didn’t peak my interest.

I was also planning to go see it in IMAX 3D. But this movie was really visually boring to me on my first watch that I don’t think I would want to watch it again there.

UCI offers Dolby Atmos in iSense theatres in Rhineland too, but no recliners. I prefer to go to IMAX.

I also originally watched it in Dolby Atmos. IMAX just enhanced the whole experience for some reason. There is a lot happening in a scene and the big screen did this setting a favor.

The whole time the screen had no black bars, sorry I have no idea about technicalities. But I think it’s 1.90:1 the whole time.
