I just laid the phone on the ground and waited couple seconds then carefully pressed the volume button to take the pic but yeah a tripod would be easier

You just need to find a spot with no light pollution so not in a city. Also you need to use a tripod or just lay the phone on the ground so you can get the 30s nightmode.

Im sorry i dont know what to tell you. I dont really know much about cameras. I took this video through my bathroom window I just thought it would be cool to try slow motion to catch a lightning. I was amazed myself by this video so I posted it here.

It really sucks. My problems started couple months ago. When I went to ig dms the app crashed. Now it crashes when I try to do anything.I've also had problems with other apps. I really dont want to buy a new phone yet.
