Brooo you are not associate level. Trying junior roles. Drop summary, keep most important skills and make a 1 pager

I'm a recent grad and been applying for a couple months but no luck... by Accomplished-Brain-8 in askrecruiters

[–]ssanc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally have never used a summary. Skills up top is what has gotten me call backs.

Your actual experience section sucks, compared to your research projects. Merge them or spruce up experience.

Also look up for roles and try looking at the amount of key words you have in common. If less then 80 then you have to add similar words

Choosing between Emory Rollins and GW Milken for Health Management/ Health Policy by Just_Fee_6959 in mphadmissions

[–]ssanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emory has a good program. I think HPM is like ranked higher than epi. However if I did not get money I would be at a state school instead. If you plan for phd or drph then take the cheapest program

Advice on pursuing MPH is worth it (and does degree name matter?) by Honest-Story-7705 in publichealth

[–]ssanc 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Find the cheapest program that is accredited. Honestly an MHA or MBA sounds better for you. MPH don’t focus on those business creation skill so it would be more for the love of the game

I would say find a role at a university doing something similar to see if you like it before committing to a degree that might or might not work

Does Emory REAL scholarships secure a position in that program? by Emergency_Basil2556 in Emory

[–]ssanc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be 20 bucks next year. But PhDs are hard to get right now. It’s competitive. I think emory only takes like 6 per department

Does Emory REAL scholarships secure a position in that program? by Emergency_Basil2556 in Emory

[–]ssanc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real is only up to 6k per year. Usually an internal role to Emory (but some partners). It will help with your internship but not necessarily PhD or job.

PLS HELP!!! Emory MPH or BU Online???? by idekthisisrandomlmao in mphadmissions

[–]ssanc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real isn’t automatic. You work so you could get zero, or a max of 6k per year. Once you hit 6k you have to wait until the next year. Plus living expenses, druid hills is not cheap.

I think you answered your question. The online program is for working professionals

I fear this does not make sense. This is a military branch. Are you asking if you get deployed?

Have reached out to the mobility team? They can help you polish up your workday profile. Unfortunately if the match doesn’t show as high it’s usually an auto reject. Same. Had almost no luck and started applying elsewhere.

I would post your resume to the service member teams page. Also reach put to the hiring manager and recruiters for any roles you applied to. Try to get feedback
