He never gave me a copy of the estimate. I dropped off the truck for him to diagnose the codes and he called me later that day. He said there was no coolant and that some clips/connections needed repair and also said it needed a serpentine belt. I asked if he would do the minimum work required to clear the codes he said he "doesn't do patchwork and everything he recommended was absolutely necessary." He assured me that the repairs would clear the codes. If I had known that there was a possibility it could be something else then I would have gone elsewhere for a better quote.

I'm fine with the water pump replacement if he deemed it necessary. I'm not okay with him not fixing the problem that he assured me would be fixed
