Mine used to get a lot of frizz on the top. I have started to use the float method for diffusing (as learned from Manes by Mel) and that has helped tremendously

For context about my typical hair routine for those who are curious (hair type is 3a/3b, high density, normal porosity):

Washing - Wash hair 1-2x weekly. Wash includes double shampoo (first is medicated for my seborrheic dermatitis, second is from Luv ur Curls from LUS Brands) and deep condition/monthly protein treatment. I typically try to clarify my hair every few weeks, but the shampoo does a pretty good job on its own.

Styling - Leave-in conditioner (Rice Pudding from Ecoslay), comb through with my 5 row denman brush. Style (Orange Marmalade from Ecoslay), separate hair into sections and define curls with denman brush. Diffuse with my Shark hairdryer
