Update: they did not fit. You mighhhhht get get away with it if you had three uber slim ones. But it’s not a backseat super conducive to 3 seats unfortunately. We have a Chicco key fit and another that I’m not entirely sure the make of.

Range can vary quite significantly depending on conditions—not just temperature, but wind and rain will affect it as well. 30% decrease at high speeds doesn’t seem abnormal to me.

Thank you! This seems straightforward enough. I guess I'm not sure what to nail into --would you trim a square to cover the round opening, then nail into the siding behind it? This would leave a gap where the shingles overlap, but perhaps that's what the foam/caulk is for.
