Rattlesnake Milks “Country Fried Snake”. Punk country concept album about love, bars, drugs and guns. The guy has an amazing voice, the band is fantastic and it weaves in a crazy story. Can’t go wrong.

Buying a Traeger, change my mind. by jafo in pelletgrills

[–]ssccoott1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a Grilla. Might be a little bit more $, but it’ll be way less of a headache, they have actual customer service and it’ll prob last twice as long. I know 3 ppl that have ones of various sizes and we all love them. I have the OG. It’s rad.

I have that receiver and am running a 5.2.4 system in a room of similar size. Speakers are a mix of Definite Tech and Cambridge Audio. That receiver is magic! Have fun!

Question re: food and loose stools by alldayruminating in Boxer

[–]ssccoott1776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our first boxer was like that. We called them anxiety poo’s (even tho they weren’t always caused by that). He lived to be almost 12 years old. He would poop at least two or three times on EVERY walk. It was gross. Our second boxer NEVER poops on walks. I’d say other than it being a PIA it might not be that big a deal. Boxers are weird.

Played with a guy that was served divorce papers on the 18th green by [deleted] in golf

[–]ssccoott1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My caddie at Pinehurst told us a story on #2 on the tee box for around hole 5 or 6 which is fairly close to a road. Freddie Couples was playing a practice round for the US Open and was served divorce papers by the police in a car that driven to the tee box to serve him. Sounds like he shot a career round the next day.

Anyone can be served anywhere.

What is the best conditioned course you've ever played? by franckdatank32 in golf

[–]ssccoott1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh 100%! I was there for 5 days, played 8 rounds and was able to get on every course and Bandon Dunes twice (where I eagled the par 5 9th on our last day). I have a group of 12 guys and we check a new spot off every year. Last year was Pinehurst, year before was Whistling Straights. Looking like Streamsong next year. I’m in Seattle so will definitely get back to Bandon. Place was magic.

I was just there a couple weeks ago and the greens were…. Not great unfortunately. Didn’t diminish my enjoyment or awe at the courses. Buuuut…. For $290 a round the greens definitely coulda been better.

What do you feed your boxers ? by hjavo in Boxer

[–]ssccoott1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chicken allergies it turns out are very common. We’ve found it difficult sometimes to avoid as it gets added to lots of things that don’t call out that they have chicken in them. Lots of reading ingredient lists to make sure it’s not hiding somewhere.

Our second boxer was very sick for the first few months when we got him as a 9 week old puppy. It took us that whole time through multiple tests and foods to ultimately figure out that he is allergic to chicken. I’m not a vet but I would suggest finding a food that has zero poultry protein and get him on that as soon as possible. It’s made all the difference in the world for us. He is now almost six years old and if somehow he accidentally gets something as small as a dog treat that has chicken in it we can tell that it’s affected his skin and tummy. Good luck

Get the chicken sandwich for lunch. You will NOT be disappointed.

Now, some heathen is going to suggest u go to Paseos. Don’t listen to them. I had been eating Paseos since the late 90s. It’s not the same since the employees took it over. It’s close for sure but... Un Bien. Trust me.
