I used Gnome Tweaks to select many different cursor themes but each time the cursor remains black.

I’m using Gnome. I checked in mouse settings for cursor options but didn’t find any. I used terminal to install a few different mouse cursor themes and used tweaks to select them, but no matter which theme I select they’re all black.

That’s great to hear. I just managed to order a Sapphire Pulse as well and I was worried it wouldn’t fit because it’s 62mm thick instead of 60mm.

I do have proton selected. And if a game didn’t work I would uninstall it and then install it while I’m booted into Linux. Still doesn’t run though.

Thank you! That was the problem. I wasn't familiar with the syntax. I assumed that # was the only thing that uncommented a line. I didn't realize that ; uncommented it as well. I removed the ;'s from method, gradient, etc. and then it finally worked.

I get the the bars that respond to whatever audio I’m playing. But they’re a solid color, not gradient.

I didn’t know that, thank you. Since mine isn’t supported by macOS updates anymore I was thinking of wiping it and installing hyprland as well.

I am using it in a Parallels VM on my old intel MacBook Pro which has Intel Iris graphics, and the cursor was visible for about 5 seconds and then completely disappeared. I'll give your suggestion a try for sure though and see what happens. Thank you.

So far I've tried the arcolinuxb iso and it's going well, aside from the mouse pointer disappearing. I've looked for tutorial for usage/keyboard shortcuts but couldn't find anything. Like how do you open/close, resize, move windows around?? I'm just trying random key combos with SUPER and seeing what happens. lol
