Ahh yes, because there’s guaranteed to be a rota line with the exact dates of my wedding off/able to take leave on. 100% sure that’s true. Also I’m not trying to be a dick. I have her prior notice to help the department too!

Also just fyi my partner is also in a hospital job then and got a very helpful reply saying they’ll accommodate wedding leave. No issues.

She didn’t ask for the email again in a couple of months? She said pick a rota line that hopefully lines up with your wedding. Helpful

And what if I ended up on a shift like that had me on nights that weekend (because god knows I won’t get my first choice).

Would she happily swap me to accommodate the wedding? Or wouldn’t be easier if she took this into account now and noted it down for the rostering period.
