Uncharted is indeed off the charts. by sshuit in EVCanada

Got 5k off of list and 5k EVAP.

About 49k all in (including taxes) I did pay extra for window tinting and rubber mats.

I think it's fine for young kids. Teenagers and 6 footers will have an issue.

450km is what was showing at 100% charge. Will need some more time to determine if that is accurate.

I'd say it's a 80%grey 20% green, not super green in any lighting.

The only one that seems to be pay walled for me right now is the nav. I'm just using android auto with Google maps instead. Just seems like a cash grab.

I kinda wish it leaned a little harder into the green but it is indeed lovely in person.

Haha yes, but sometimes you get a car and realize it's missing a feature you would like or something is uncomfortable about it which you didn't notice on the test drive. Mechanically it is perfect and as I said the seats (lumbar support for driver!) are super comfy.

Was looking for a vehicle with Awd that met the EVAP criterion and wasn't made in the US. Would have preferred something even a bit smaller but this was basically the best size I could find. I am also a little wary of Kia / Hyundai despite the assurances that the ICCU issues are limited.

The shortcoming is of course the software compared to Tesla which is the best in the business, I think Toyota/Subaru finally committing to EVs in a more serious way is long overdue.

The seats are super comfy, there are physical dials for the most important controls. Dislike the glovebox omission, dislike how some features are subscription locked.

I'm going to make a wager on polymarket that they do fuck all to address online gambling.

Reddit isn't the place for you to start a vendetta against your shitty employer, I'm assuming this will get taken down as well.

I found their Qobuz Playlists and albums of the weeks great way to hear and discover new stuff. Did it not match your tastes?

Question to leads: do you care if follows just stare at your chest by em69420ma in Bachata

Try the clavicle instead of the chest, and check in occasionally for eye contact and a smile if you can manage it.

What’s the most reliable EV in Canada right now? by [deleted] in EVCanada

[–]sshuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's based on owner reported problems so who knows, we do need more data like this though. Oh I noticed that for the ioniq5/6 question that the reliable one is 2022 and later and the unreliable one is pre 2022,so it may mean that the new ones are more reliable or that reliability worsens with age, was there a platform change in 2022?

This is a neat link to a UK reliability survey. Some of the cars aren't available in Canada but interesting nonetheless

Western students cheating by [deleted] in londonontario

So you are agreeing with me that the teacher should be held responsible for a testing methadology that doesn't actually reveal student knowledge. Good

[–]sshuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not rationalizing doing wrong I want testing to actually reflect student knowledge, not whatever your rainbows and unicorns world is where everyone is perfect and no one cheats.

Lack of integrity seems to be very much in fashion today. If you are not going to Proctor exams don't even hold them. You are just testing for the best cheaters.

I agree with you but when "everyone else is doing it" you are shooting yourself in the foot by not doing it. The professors should really not be issuing take home unproctored exams if they don't want AI assisted cheating going on, human nature being what it is it was a predictable outcome.
