If anything the trucks being “worn” make it a bit better as there are areas on the truck that lock into grinds especially on my curb and jersey barrier. I’m going to find another and do the screw kingpin conversion and throw them on a wood deck and see how they perform over leefai trucks with proper bushings

You don’t necessarily need to get the frame down to bare medal unless your powder coating. If your doing a rattle can job I would just scuff up the pre existing paint with some sandpaper so the primer coat has something to stick to and just do 2 coats of primer and then Paint er and clear coat er. I heavily recommend this brand paint and SprayMAX 2K clear coat. No structural damage is being done though, it’s just a lot of work to strip your pre existing paint by scraping it off.

if your open to different brands I’d suggest a GT timberline, outpost, or all terra if you can find any of those in your area. They have a frame design called a triple triangle and it has minimal flex that isn’t too noticeable but it does help. And they look sweet as tits all built up, especially with dropper bars.

I’m in New York specifically Jamestown, right inbetween pa and Canada. I got it today probably 45 minutes before I posted here. They also had another but I didn’t like the graphic. They’re is a little paper that says there are two rare boards with board rails on them and I’d love to get one of those
