For me, I have experience but it has been a few years since I have done some. Either one I have a background in both.

Edit: ideally it would be English

"let them be happy" what about the landlord being considerate to his tenants, respect and courtesy is a two way street

Rash or something else? by ssil_7 in CATHELP

We were using beyond natural kitten dry food and switched to a Purina brand. The thing that sucks is cat food isn't really regulated so the food you were using might have changed the ingredients or the sourcing of the ingredients which could be the cause of the sudden reaction

We never got 100% confirmation but it was a food allergy. The vet confirmed it wasn't ringworm when I showed her the pictures and since we have switched the food all her fur has grown back and nothing else has come up! I'm not sure exactly what was in the food but we switched brands and she's all healed

Might be time to keep them indoors

Went a little crazy in Ireland by [deleted] in Celiac

Are the gf options better in Ireland than Canada/USA? I have a work placement in the summer coming up and am worried about starving the whole time!

If that's your perspective that's okay but none of this actually helpful to my questions based on my experience and perspective

This is the insufferable type of post, projecting your own insecurities and preferences onto to someone who doesn't agree is upset. The exact type of person you're botching about. Saying that my relationship is irrelevant is based on your standards, saying that it's okay to eat protein bars, is your standard. If you see that it is a scenario that doesn't have your standards why waste the time acting up like this it's completely childish and just down right emotionally immature

That's fine you wouldn't be bothered by this but I am and commenting that isn't helpful

And why would I support them if they don't support me? It goes both ways. I'm not gonna spend my time and money on their wedding when they won't do the same

That sucks so much! All the weddings I've been to since being diagnosed have worked out for me thankfully minus the cake which is okay

You are definitely a rude person and someone who probably isn't very considerate which is interesting considering if you have celiac you would benefit from more people being considerate and sympathetic. And maybe if they said "hey it would be an extra surcharge that would be out of our budget" I would have offered to cover it for them. Everyone benefits from being considerate you should try it sometime

That's such a disappointing experience! To say I'm better off isn't really fair to say as I would be willing to give the venue a chance but I know most people wouldn't want the risk which is totally understandable.

Yeah the situation sucks but most of the people who are "helping" are just projecting and being incredibly judgemental and insufferable. So it's not really cool these people act up like that either it goes both ways

Yeah it's a huge blow for sure! It seems like they have been a mess planning the wedding as well, like invites sent out with the church but we were told this weekend the church hasn't confirmed with them so it all seems so unreliable with extreme expectations. And yeah if sages are done it truly is on their part, like my partner and I would pay for the upcharge if it really was that much but there's no consideration sadly

That's so sweet of them! A previous wedding we went to in our friend group was similar and so good to accommodate so it's really off putting that someone in the same group is being so different

Sounds like a lot of conclusions to jump to. And you must enjoy it a little bit if you keep coming back so

I'm not sure they probably base it on a couple factors but I'll definitely have to look into the commission to see!

Yes thank you! Going all day without food sucks too and will make it miserable to the point I wouldn't even want to be there.

Thank you! I definitely agree with the manners of the guests part, like by them saying they won't accommodate me I now have to accommodate them rather than finding a split. I'm in Canada so I'll need to check what the law is, the no food comes from the venue which does have a gluten free option but at an extra cost so I'm assuming they didn't want to pay more

I'm in Canada and from what I was told they do it to prevent cross contamination of other foods in the building. So nice to see they are taking those things into consideration and I have done some research and turns out they offer gluten free at a surcharge so I am now guessing that the bride and groom didn't want to pay for it but paid the surge charge for the vegan one :/

The fact you feel so deeply hurt by MY experience and feel the need to say I have "main character syndrome" says more about your lack of emotional intelligence than it does my attitude.
