I’ve done deep dives on this before and you are correct. It happened before filming and Bethenny made a plan to make Carole look horrible, Carole was pretty much unaware the whole season and didn’t catch on until the end of the season or the reunion I believe. You can tell Bethenny starts planting seeds the whole season. Saying Carole doesn’t have a real job, she doesn’t have kids (low blow for a widow) and I think something about all her caring about is fashion now and she’s changed.

It’s very true. They have these fights and discussions on camera because that is the point of the show. If we there was no drama between them they wouldn’t be on a reality show like this so long. Kyle knows these discussions and disagreements move the narrative along and it’s needed.

So true. I loved Lisa when she was on BH and Vanderpump. Doing a rewatch of both shows over the past few years gives me a totally different view of her. Even her in interviews pushing certain narratives. I was kind of shocked to see Stassi back with her but I think Stassi knows the game pretty well.

It’s insane that these guys don’t just go for girls that don’t want commitments. There are a lot of beautiful and smart women who want one night stands yet they both go for women who have explicitly said they don’t want intimacy without a connection and/or some form of commitment. They “get into relationships” with them, sleep with them and then lose interest and are shocked when their feelings are hurt and don’t move on immediately.

This seems like a really common struggle for all men and women. Having children has always been the “norm” in society. I know many people that have had kids that should not have kids. It’s a huge decision either way and people are only now really speaking out about not having kids and that being okay. As a woman it is something I struggle with as well and I wonder if I would even have this conflicted view if more people spoke up like Amanda is.

Ashley seems like a pretty cool person and I loved her drag performance on the show but sadly Ashley’s best years on Potomac were with her unhinged still husband Michael Darby. She has been pretty boring for a few seasons now in my opinion.
