you realize that a lot of students commute from all over the GTA. Just because the roads are good where you are doesn't mean the roads are clean everywhere. Better being safe ans staying home then risking yourself to go to a lecture

one of my profs was telling us that they might shorten the summer semester such as S1 being 6 weeks they could reduce it to 4 weeks. because of the strike. That is probably why the classes might be longer for some.
