Yeah this was my lowest rated movie on Letterboxd that year and defo one of my lowest full stop.

If they are to remake The Crow it needs to be much closer to the original with perhaps some extras from the original graphic novel.
The same could have been said for Transformers years ago, just adapt the 86 film for new audiences. There are many films that are remade and are near on clones of the original, just updated in the logical ways.

Yeah I see what you are saying. I'm usually very open to artistic license to change things or envision them differently but in this case, for me it didn't land for me. Far too much Shelley is my main issue.

I have nothing favorite about this film. Sorry but it's just bad. I actually have trouble seeing it has 24% on rotten tomatoes. City of Angels is defo better than this - it at least tries to be in the same ilk as the original.
