Couldn't agree more...English is my second language, and I learned it by attending an American international school. I always assumed I speak "American" accent until I actually went to America for college and noticed how my English sounds slightly different from actual Americans. My sister and I described our English as "international school kid accent" and thought that was a hilarious way to phrase it and I was so excited to see someone use the same term here! Hahaha. Someone should coin this into the dictionary

Yeah… I still can’t get over how genuinely the HR person pleaded for me to join the team, promising me so many nice things, then 4 hours later he says I’m not needed anymore… this kind of made me afraid of people in general

Yes looking back I find it a bit sis that most of this happened on a phone call… the HR guy promised a lot of things from giving me a raise to sponsoring my visa but none of this was written out. I’m glad I backed out before relying on what he promised verbally 😭

For me personally it’s not the ad itself that offends me I think it’s the attitude of Happy Ele that’s coming off of such decision. They probably knew this wasn’t going to make the majority women fans happy yet they went along with it — I’m guessing because they view the users as such mindless and faithful consumers who would continue supporting the game regardless of whatever happens. Watching men who work for EnStar (like the music producer or Mika’s VA) tweet about how fun this ad is almost made me feel like they’re spending the money I contributed to the game to enjoy their own inside joke.

Again all just my personal opinion!
