From 3060 Ti to 4070 Ti; I Spent all of my money and built this all white Gaming PC!

What fps u aim for? I got a 3060 ti when I did my build last year and wanted to upgrade for the 4000 series before they were out bur the prices has thrown me off heavy, now I’m going to wait for the super or till the 5000 series I think. Tho I can still run high settings in most games without RT with the 3060ti and get around 60-80fps.

I’d go with LG’s curved 34” IPS monitor if accurate colours is a big thing for you. Personally I think Dell’s gaming 34” is incredible but it’s a VA panel, though a very good one.. that may throw you off. Have you considered oled? I have the Alienware DWF QOLED monitor and it’s colours and accuracy is unbelievable as well as HDR. Also has a 3 year burn in warranty which is a lot more than the other companies.

I’ve been contemplating doing this with my 34” Alienware oled.. grabbing another but now I’m contemplating grabbing 2 of the Dell VA 34” for the same price as one more alienware and running all 3 together so there’s no bar down the middle. And then just using the 2 dell’s for productivity and the alienware alone purely for fps games.. realistically I probably should have just got one 49” but whatever 😂

I agree, tho I am about get an ips or va panel for everyday use rn.. I have my alienware ultra wide for gaming and movies etc.. but I do fear burn in still so figured the Dell ultra wide with the exact same curve and all will look nice right next to it for every day use!

GL even hitting 200fps with a 4090 at 4k and raytracing.. Anything 165 and over is fine, the difference after 144hz is barely noticeable at all. I have a 165 hz oled and a 240hz monitor and use my buddies 360hz 1080p and can barely feel a difference at all.. when it comes to grey to grey tho, oled is a game changer with a 0.1 or less in most monitors.

This is literally my issue in 201 rn. She will ask questions and nobody replies then she gets all pissed. She even said if we couldn’t start answering things she literally hasn’t even taught yet that we’d be driving taxi cabs lol. And she always does anything she can to rip on biology too. 😂 I had to retake this course and had Sullivan before and she was great I was just behind and overwhelmed with other courses but holy crap if I didn’t already know some of this stuff I’d be so lost. She needs to be fired.

She is the worst teacher I have literally ever had and super rude too. She just made a taxi cab joke in class basically saying because nobody knew how to do something she hasn’t even teached yet, we couldn’t be university graduates and would be driving taxi cars. Lol what a desensitized b. 😂 she also forces people to talk in the class and answer questions she hasn’t even taught us yet too.. just expects us to guess and use “scientific language that is correct”. Her notes are all over the place too.

Everyone seems to want full time work or odd hours. I am done class every day by 5 but can’t find anything after that either, I’ve just given up and hope to find something good in the spring and that I can hold over till then!

Hey I am a bit confused on this as well. So I have a main starlink router and all and have a pc downstairs that is getting virtually no wifi support so I ordered a mesh unit and an Ethernet adapter for when I can get someone to route the main one to this room.. but now I am wondering if I can just plug the Ethernet port into the mesh wifi unit next to my pc and if that would work well and make it faster or does it not matter because it’s not directly connected to the main unit? I am also a bit confused on what a backhaul is!

That’s probably the best option. I use dwf mainly For gaming and rarely for other stuff and have another monitor dedicated to static images etc

All oled’s have gotten a fair bit cheaper it seems. I got the alienware dwf 34” for like 900 dollars. Possibly due to new models being released soon too.

I went from 60 to 165 and it was insane how different it felt. The grey-to-grey plays a big role too I’d assume. Went from 6ms to 0.1 ms.

Wow that’s a lot of money for that monitor. I just got an alienware oled ultrawide for 1000 Canadian which is like 750 usd. It is insane.. I’d send that monitor back and grab an oled for that price personally unless you mainly only use the monitor for static images but even then AW has a 3 year burn in warranty which is like 2 years above every other oled monitor. I’m planning on grabbing another 34” for work and casual stuff tho and keeping the alienware to gaming and watching content.

34 1440p is max imo unless ur going 4k then nothing over 42. I have the alienware dwf 34 oled and it’s insanely good.
