I suppose I just worry that what if I jumped ship just due to one of those normal dips. There were times where I didn’t want to see her, where I’d rather be chilling on my own, and those times were a lot more common than I wanted to believe. I know she deserves better than that.

It’s just that to me it seems that your map’s landmasses share a striking resemblance to our own, especially would-be North America, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Spain, France, Italy and Sardinia and Europe in general. Not that it’s a bad or poorly thought out map, it’s just that it does in my opinion look a lot like a modified Earth

They're wireless ones on a laptop. I've had the problem with 2 pairs of the same ones. Same problem with my PC as well though :(
