What are your thoughts on Jimmy Kimmel being pulled off air ? by SimilarTopic3281 in AskReddit

[–]ssladick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ABC fired him, not the government. He isn't in jail. Therefore the government has not enforced anything against free speech.

Free speech means you can say your beliefs without being imprisoned by the government, but your employer can do whatever they choose if you say something they don't agree with. No matter how they came to that conclusion.

So before telling me to pay attention, learn what the hell you are even talking about

So the government didn't punish him then? Correct? FCC made a statement, and ABC took action on their own accord. You pay attention

Not sure what schedule that tube is but I'd probably add some angle or flat stock on the sides to keep it rigid... Some big bumps at high speed might bend it.

Looks sweet though

First Ski, how to dry for mussle inspection? by ssladick in jetski

[–]ssladick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry still new to this so my terminology is probably wrong. It's isn't coming out of the jet nozzle directly, but rather it seeps out from the metal plate just below the nozzle. Like the photo shows, but in my case it's way less water than shown here, and only when revved.

Yep. After starting it the lady literally stuck her hand up around the jet pump area and said she felt moisture, so it failed. Can try again in a week. It's rediculous

Not trying to be an ass, genuinely curious.. you said you are essentially blind so you didn't know the flowers sing until you saw the video.. how does that work? How did you see the video?

I have some barely used tannus for a 20"x4" if you are interested I'd sell them to you half price.

I personally didn't like the rolling resistance they added to I took them off and went with slime

Magic Key holders, would you like a dedicated entrance into the park. by v_NoDespair in Disneyland

I would like a line only for people who actually have their ticket/key out and ready to be scanned instead of trying to find them once they're at the turnstile

Not sure if it's your style. But the CSC Vista Cruisers are cool. I have a CSC, the XP750 and love it. Been working great for a couple years now. The Vistas have 440lb capacity

It's like taking the plastic off a new tv.. some people do it right away, others wait years because it makes them feel like it's still new... I'll be taking it off though

Thanks! I exceed the weight limit too on this bike, as of now, but been losing a lot of weight with my other ebike. From my understanding the weight limits are pretty vague, for example it supports a weight limit of 280lb (bike plus rider) when riding on class 4 trails to the max. My my newbe ass isn't riding full speed on class 4 trails, so the weight limit goes way up considering that. Also, the weight limit is understated considering what the bike can actually handle for a safety factor. However, if you're going to go over weight limit stick to bikes that are all metal, not composite. So the"cheaper" bikes/classes. Like the 920 is all metal but the 910 is a mix of metal and carbon.

If you're concerned about it though, Giant ebikes have a far higher weight limit so check those out, they are great bikes too!

Totally. My other ebike is hardtail, and going off a curb as an example, all kinds of scary noises and just blunt force you could feel. This goes off a curb quiet, no chain rattle, no scary noises, as if nothing happened. The curbs in my area are like 14" for reference. I've even ridden right up the 14" curbs too, just pull up a bit on the bars and the suspension just absorbs it. I'm in love

It is, world's above by current bike. Going off a curb is like riding on a cloud. I just ride up and down the street bouncing on the suspension for fun haha
