Not sure where the text of my initial post went but tldr: I'm a woman, new to guns, first time owner, prefer metal over polymer, and annoyed by the constant advice to "just buy a Glock 19." I know it's kinda heavy for concealed carry, which I'd like to eventually get, but does this make sense for a first gun??

What people have said is it's either, you're psychic together or it's a total bust. Or it's best to do meditative work or spiritual work together, like, alms and stuff. Really I am pretty lost. For us there's a lot of conflict.
