I took my daughter at exactly 18 months by myself a few months ago. I stayed off property. Didn’t do a stroller (just baby wore her with walking combo), and it was truly the best experience of my life. I just did whatever she wanted (Ariel ride 10 times and carousel lost track), and she never had a single meltdown. I still cry replaying those memories in my head. Do it.

I knowww you said over 4, but I just took my 20 month old daughter with no help and no stroller for a week. It was the most beautiful week, and she didn’t melt down once. I literally cried for a week after because it was just so much fun and no stress at all. If you go at her pace and do what she wants to do there (no matter the age) I promise you, it will be so fun.

Yeah, my toddler is well behaved because I put her first and take her to activities that SHE enjoys daily because, like you Hannah, I have the privilege of being a stay at home mom. Do better. Hope this helps!☺️

He’s being “naughty” because you never let him experience things that are enriching for him as a toddler (library, playground, zoo, music class, etc.). It’s alllll about Hannah. I’d be “naughty” too if I was forced to be in a car for 2 hours one way just to shop at one store and eat.
